A house on the pass
Aurelio Solvera plants the first terraces above the village and builds the house with stone from the slope.

The cellar
His daughter Pilar digs the vaulted cellar into the hill, where the temperature never leaves thirteen degrees.

One wine
The family stops making still wine and bets everything on a single sparkling cuvée, aged longer than anyone around them.

2019
Zero dosage
Marta Solvera, third generation, removes the last gram of sugar. Brut Nature becomes the only wine the house makes.
(02) The valley
Cold nights, long light.
The estate sits on a pass between two valleys, where the wind comes down from the high plateau every evening. In August the nights still fall below fifteen degrees.
Eleven terraces, held up by dry-stone walls older than the house, face south-east. Limestone under a thin skin of clay. The vines have to dig.
